This is a purchase/adoption contract stating that a Puppy/Dog was
adopted/purchased from Lesley Hertzberg on __________ for the amount of
___________ . This Puppy / dog was purchased/adopted as a ____________. If
adopted as a pet Puppy/Dog will be spayed or neutered and written proof from a
certified licensed Vet will be given to seller before AKC papers, with limited
registration, is released to buyer. If said puppy is purchased as show quality, then
puppy must be shown and finished.
This Puppy is guaranteed healthy at the time of sale and current on vaccinations
and wormed. Buyer has 72 hours from the time of sale to have Puppy checked by a
licensed Vet. If puppy is checked by a licensed vet within the first 72hrs of
ownership, I (Lesley Hertzberg) will guarantee said puppy to be free of LIFE
THREATENING genetic defects until the puppy reaches 1 year of age. If it is proven,
with a written document from a licensed vet, that the Puppy has a life threatening
genetic defect I will replace buyers Puppy for one of the same quality, breed, and
gender when one becomes available. If shipping is needed, buyer is responsible for
any shipping expenses. In order to receive an replacement Puppy, the original
Puppy must be returned to seller at buyers expense. Any substantial health
problems are the buyers responsibility.
Please remember that puppies are susceptible to illness and stress when in a new
environment. Please be sure to help your new puppy with new environment
adjustments.
Due to the age of some of the Adult dogs that seller places, when
adopting(Purchasing) an Adult Dog there is NO guarantee on he/she.
I DO NOT REIMBURSE for any medical expenses which buyer decides to undertake
him/herself.
If at any time buyer decides that he/she can no longer care for said Puppy/Dog,
Buyer/Adoptee must return the Puppy/Dog to the seller(Lesley Hertzberg) . This
Puppy/Dog is not to be placed in a shelter or given to the humane society.
I will not refund money if buyer changes his/her mind about keeping said
Puppy/Dog.
Failure to follow this contract will entitle the seller(Lesley Hertzberg) to the amount
of $500.00 as a result of breach of contract and any legal fees associated with any
legal actions. The buyer understands that this is a legal binding contract.
